Thanks to Mr. Zhang for ordering 20 Dongfeng 6-wheel-drive EQ2102G off-road trucks from our company.
Mr. Zhang contacted us online two months ago, stating that he intended to place an order for a batch of flat-cab off-road cargo trucks with a 3-ton load capacity, primarily for use in tropical countries and regions, with stringent requirements for off-road performance. Based on the local operating environment, our company recommended the classic Dongfeng 6-wheel-drive EQ2102G model to Mr. Zhang. After confirming the vehicle model, Mr. Zhang traveled to our factory from Shenzhen for an inspection and finally signed the order for 20 trucks.
After a 40-day production schedule, the vehicles were finally finished. However, shipments were suspended due to traffic lockdowns across numerous regions caused by the pandemic. The day before yesterday, we received notice from the border port that lockdown restrictions had been lifted, and our company immediately arranged vehicle delivery. After communicating with Mr. Zhang, we decided to ship the trucks in separate batches to avoid unexpected disruptions during transit; the second batch will be dispatched only after the first batch completes customs clearance and smooth delivery. We would also like to express our gratitude to pandemic prevention staff and volunteers nationwide for their long-term hard work, which enabled us to arrange stable shipments and let drivers travel safely and without worry.
This batch of Dongfeng 6-wheel-drive EQ2102G off-road trucks is fitted with a Dongfeng Cummins 190-horsepower engine, a Dongfeng 6-speed transmission, and specialized 12.5R20 off-road tires. Equipped with six-wheel drive, the trucks deliver outstanding performance in obstacle crossing, wading, and hill climbing, making them suitable for operation on harsh road surfaces including forests, mountainous terrain, deserts, marshes and gobi deserts.
The truck’s cargo box is 4.8 meters long. It can carry a payload of 3.5 tons under off-road conditions and up to 5 tons on paved highways. Foldable seats are installed on both inner sides of the cargo box, which can accommodate at least 16 passengers, enabling the vehicle to transport both goods and personnel. The cargo box comes with detachable tarpaulins and support poles that can be mounted during rainy, windy or sandy weather to shield cargo and passengers inside from rain and sandstorms.
Taking the harsh local road conditions into consideration, we have installed a 380-liter brake cooling water tank on the vehicle, which cools the axles and wheel rims when the truck travels on rough roads or descends long continuous slopes. In addition, each truck is fully equipped with emergency supplies including on-board tools, an engine oil can, a water bucket, a fire extinguisher and a spare tire. A front winch and heating & air conditioning system can be installed as optional upgrades upon request.
